Bar

The bar is traditionally styled with large exposed beams and a large open log fireplace (which roars in winter)

We serve a good selection of real ales and an extensive range of wines from around the world. We can also offer cappuccinos, lattes and espressos along with regular coffee and tea.

 

Restaurant

Our in-house Chef  uses the best and where possible local suppliers for our raw ingredients. All food is freshly prepared and cooked - daily.  We have an extensive menu along with a daily specials board.  

Our light lunch menu offers delicious Homemade Burgers, Jacket Potatoes with a variety of fillings and Toasted Sandwiches. Our main menu  offers starters including Whitebait, Tempura Prawns, Deep Fried Camembert and Thai Crab Cakes with Lime & Ginger. And main courses include Salmon & Spring Onion Fishcakes, Lamb Shank with Rosemary & Balsamic, Sirloin Steak, Steak & Guinness Pie and Smoked Duck Breast Salad.

Our Sunday Roast is extremely popular so booking is advisable.

We believe the combination of traditional food and relaxed ambience makes the Saracen’s a truly traditional English pub.
